Real Life ~ Hearing Problems

Here's Another Confession To Make.

Yes, Isn't The Title Already So Obvious?
I HAVE HEARING PROBLEMS.

It Started Ever Since I Was Really Weak And Sickly As A Child (But That Never Made Me Depressed Or Give Up!). I Always Catch A Cold Along With Fevers, Coughing Fits And Asthma. I Even Used To Have Skin Allergy Or Whatever It Is Called. My Skin Would've Been Dry And Easily Peeled Off But Now That One's Over At The Moment. Not To Worry.

Anyways, Sorry I Got Side Tracked. As I Was Saying, I Was A Weakling. Because I Kept Sneezing All Year Round, My Ears Started To Have Problems. I Couldn't Exactly Hear Clearly. I Always Hear This Clicking Sound And I CAN'T Ever Get Rid Of It!

It Started Off As This Annoying Click But As Years Passed, I Grew Used To It, No Longer Affected. There Seem To Be NO Way Of Removing This Clicking Sound. I Guess I Never Told My Parents But Even If I DID Say Anything About This, It Would've Just Upset And Worry Them. Besides, It's Not Like I Know How To Describe To Them. The Hardest Part Would Be Describing The Clicking Sound.

By The Primary School Age, I Had This Sort Of "Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder". I Was Irritated That I Couldn't Hear Clearly And Was Always Yelled At To "Go Dig My Ears Properly" So I Really Did What They Said.

I Kept Digging My Ears Until They Bled Terribly And Hurt A Lot. I Had Quite A Hard Time Dealing With This Problem. Finally, My Mom Noticed I Kept Doing That And The Fact That My Ear Was In Pain. She Brought Me To See A Doctor And I Had to Apply Something If I've Not Mistaken. A Sort of Cream. Well, I Can't Exactly Remember What Happened Then.

In The Year 2008 (13 Years Old), My Dad Bought Me An iPod Since I Couldn't Seem To Live Without Music And Always Sang. I Used The iPod More When I Did My Homework.

I Became Desperate And Always Depended On My iPod. I Finally Realized That When Exam Time Came, Mom Won't Allow Me To Use The iPod Or Computer At All. Whenever I Did Homework Or Revised, I Would Always Itch To Have Something To Be Put Into My Ears, Something That I Could Listen To. Music Or Not. See?

Even When I Am Not Using The iPod, I Kept Imagining Songs Are Being Played But When I Felt Like Walking Or Doing Something Else, My Hands Reached Out To Take Off The Earpiece And Pause The Song Then To Find That I Am Not Using The iPod At All.

It Got More And More Pathetic. Still, The Hearing Problems Worsen Every Second, Every Minute But I Will NEVER Stop Using The iPod. I Just Can't Let Go of It! T.T

So People(If There's ANYONE There Listening And Haven't Fall Asleep From The Rambling), Please DON'T Use The iPod Too Much, Especially When You Are Already Facing Hearing Difficulties.

Take Good Care Of Yourself But Don't Be Too Selfish
